What is ReWi - Rent Your Wish?
ReWi is an online boutique for short-term rental (7 days and 14 days) of designer bags. All our bags, originals from the best designers in the world, are available in various colors, sizes and for various occasions, from casual to formal. Rental plans include 7 or 14 day rentals. At the moment ReWi only makes deliveries in Italy, but plans to open deliveries to other European countries in the coming months.
How does the rental work?
To rent a product:
1. Create your account: You must create a customer account before you can rent one of our products. During the registration process, the following documents and information are required:
a. Upload a valid national identity document or passport
b. General customer information (Name and Surname, Date of Birth, Residence etc.)
c. Address to be used for shipping and collection
d. Telephone number, e-mail etc.
e. Credit card information (Visa, MasterCard and American Express; prepaid cards are not accepted) with an expiration date of no less than 4 months from the day of registration
f. A confirmation email approving your account will be sent to you by email within 24 hours after careful verification by the ReWi team
2. Choose your bag and rental period: with your account created and approved by the ReWi team it’s time to explore the styles from our amazing collection. You can search and filter by bag type, designer and color and more to find the bag that’s right for you. After selecting your bag, you need to select the rental period (7 or 14 days) and then complete the simple payment and check-out procedure.
3. ReWi It: delivers the product directly to your home or to the shipping address indicated. The original ReWi packaging includes a traditional outer box, a personalized ReWi box, the rented bag, a protective case, a free prepaid return label and a thank you note. All “accessories” except the thank you note must be returned to ReWi at the end of the rental period. Your order will be delivered via premium couriers within 24-48 hours and is traceable at any time.
4. Return it: the day before the rental period expires, you will receive a reminder email from the ReWi customer service team. You will have to place the product in the original ReWi packaging (which includes a protective envelope and a free prepaid return label) and finally put it all inside the traditional courier shipping box. Return shipping is free for all rentals.
Am I renting products that other people have used or worn?
Yes, as ReWi bags are shared among our members. However, we are meticulous with our collection. We keep all the items we offer in tip-top shape thanks to thorough cleaning and inspection. Each package is also hand-packed, so we can be sure that the chosen product reaches you in as-new or new condition
How much does it cost to rent a bag?
The current 7 or 14 day rental rates are detailed on the site.
Can you help me find the right bag for me?

Do you rent clothing, shoes or other accessories?
We do not currently rent clothing, shoes or other accessories, although we are working on adding more accessories to the site, so stay in touch with ReWi!
MY REWI ACCOUNT
Do I need to create an account to rent a bag?
Yes, you need to create an account to be able to rent a bag. By registering with us you can enjoy the following benefits:
a. Tracking your orders and viewing past activities;
b. Add the items you love to your wish list;
c. Submit product reviews and share them with your friends on social networks;
d. Save your address and card details so you can shop even faster next time.
Is my financial and personal information kept private?
Where can I find my account information and recent activity?
When you log into your ReWi account, you will find your account dashboard where you have the ability to view a snapshot of your account’s recent activity and update your account information. With your account dashboard , you will find various links to view or change your account information.
How can I update my email address?
Log into your ReWi account and click the Edit icon in My Account> Contact Information. Update your email address and then click Save.
What if I forget my password?
To reset your password, click “Forgot Password” on the login page. On the next page, enter your email address. You will receive a link in your email to reset your password.
Can I view the ReWi collection without an account?
Yes. You can view our entire collection before creating an account here.
MY REWI ORDERS
What payment methods does ReWi accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal and ApplePay. Prepaid cards are not accepted as a form of payment.
When is my credit card charged for the rental?
The rental costs of the item will occur on the date of the order. Item renewals (if applicable) will be charged 24 hours after the renewal date of a new rental period (additional 7 days or 14 days subject to availability and final ReWi approval).
Do you need a security deposit?
Due to the high value of the products we are renting, we need to make sure we are renting to legitimate customers. The current security deposit amounts are equal to the amount of the rental price of the product. Some deposit amounts for “PREMIUM” products may vary and are specified on the product description page where applicable. The security deposit will be refunded to the client when the rented bag is returned to ReWi in the same condition as when it was sent to the client. The refund times of the security deposit vary according to the type of credit card and the customer’s bank (from 2 days to about 5 days).
Do you offer insurance?
No, we do not offer damage insurance. If you return a bag damaged beyond normal wear and tear, you assume responsibility for the repair or replacement price of the product, as determined at ReWi’s discretion, up to the MSRP (Market Price) value to allow for the replacement of damaged products.
In the event of theft or loss of the product, you will also be responsible for the MSRP (Market Price) of the product. We may be able to provide you with a receipt so that you can work with your insurance company, if applicable.
What is the cost of shipping?
ReWi offers free expedited shipping for all its products (24 hours – 48 hours). In case of rental before 12:00 PM the shipment will be guaranteed within 24 hours (with the exception of the islands of Sicily and Sardinia where fast delivery is not always guaranteed); in the case of orders after 12:00 PM the shipment is not guaranteed within 24 hours. Do you carry out a background/credit check?
Due to the high value of the products we are renting, we need to make sure we are renting to legitimate customers. Therefore, we reserve the right to perform background checks on our customers at any time. We may contact you for further information in order to complete a background check to ascertain the identity of the customer. We also reserve the right to cancel your order.
Does my billing address have to match my shipping address?
No, your billing address does not have to be the same as the shipping address. If your order is being shipped to an address other than the billing address on your credit card, we may contact you to verify the alternate address and ascertain the hirer’s identity. Your order will not be processed until payment is confirmed. This helps prevent fraudulent use of your credit card. The shipping address may be different from the home address present on the identity documents; in this case for security reasons the ReWi team will contact you to confirm the address.
Can I rent a bag for a friend and send it to their address?
No. As background/credit check and address validation are performed on the customer creating the user account, this option is not currently available.
Can I make a gift for my friend, relative, etc. or use a promotional code?
Yes. You will need to create your account and provide all the data as illustrated in the previous points. At that point you can choose between the four gift options (60 €, 100 €, 150 €, 200 €), make the payment and receive the promotional code to your email address that you can give to whomever you want. The duration of the promotional code is 6 months. The person who receives this promotional code will have to access the ReWi website within 6 months from the date of creation of the promotional code, create their account and upload and enter their data (identity card and/or passport, personal data, shipping address, etc.). At this point, the person who receives the promotional voucher and will use the ReWi bag will be responsible for the correct use and return of the rented bag.

How long will it take to get the bag after I receive my order?
Once ReWi receives your order, please allow 1-2 business days for processing and shipping. Once the item has been shipped, you will receive it within 1 business day (if the rental was made before 12:00 PM) with our free expedited shipping option (the duration may vary for Sicily and Sardinia). The rental period (7 days or 14 days) starts on the day you receive the bag. You can view information on costs and delivery times here.
How long can I rent an item for?
The rental period starts on the day you receive the product and can last 7 days or 14 days. If you rent a product for a week, the week starts counting the day your product was delivered to the shipping address you specified. ReWi will send you an email alert to help you remember when the rental is due to be returned. If you wish to extend the rental period, you can contact ReWi (not after the fifth (5) day or (11) eleventh day of the original rental) asking for the possibility of extending your rental. If the rental period can be extended, ReWi customer service will provide you with the required next steps and the additional amount of the rental price.
Can I rent more than one product at a time?
No. Currently, customers can only rent (1) product at the same time. However, the limit of two (2) or more rentals at the same time may be available in the future only to those customers with whom a history of success and reliability has been established with ReWi. Additional validation and/or a deposit may be required to rent multiple products.
What is your returns policy on rental orders?
Rental orders are not accompanied by the right of return. Any rental fee is due for the entire rental period and you will not be entitled to any refund, exchange or compensation in the event of an early termination of the rental order, unless an early termination occurs due to a rental contract by ReWi for typical reasons (rented product different from the one in the picture, scratched product etc.).

Are the rental items new? In what condition are the rental products?
The rental products are in excellent condition. There should be only slight signs of wear, if any. Each product is cleaned, disinfected and inspected before being leased back to a new customer.

Are the products authentic?
Yes, every product on our site is 100% authentic.
How can I return a rented product at the end of the rental period?
ReWi will contact you via e-mail 24 hours before the expiration of the rental period, informing you of the rental end date. The original ReWi box contains a protective bag and a free prepaid return label. All these items (as well as the original and rented bag) must be returned to the ReWi offices on the day the rental period ends as indicated in the initial rental order. Our courier will be responsible for collecting the ReWi box at the same shipping address provided by the customer.
What happens if I accidentally stain or damage the product?
Contact us immediately with a photo of the damage. Do not attempt to clean/fix the damage to the bag on your own. We understand that slight wear/staining can be unavoidable. Once we have received the damaged bag, we will do our checks and in the case of repairable damage we will send you a copy of the invoice; that will be at your expense. If any damage occurs that goes beyond normal wear and tear, as determined by ReWi at its sole discretion, the user will be liable for repair or replacement costs. If the item is damaged beyond repair or has never been returned, the retail price of the bag (whether new or based on its current market value as indicated on the bag description page) less any prepaid security deposits, will be requested from the customer to cover the damage suffered by ReWi. Upon shipment of the product by ReWi, a photo of the bag will be taken and sent to the customer (via email or WhatsApp) before receipt as proof of the status of the pre-rental bag.

What happens if the product is lost or stolen?
The customer is also liable in the event of theft or loss of a product and therefore you will be liable for the full Retail Price (when new or as indicated on the bag description page – Rented bag retail price) less the rental fee less any prepaid security deposits, if applicable, immediately upon notification of the loss of the item.

What happens if I fall in love with the product I have rented and want to purchase it directly? What purchase or acquisition options are there for rental products?
